I have a large document which I use the find key a lot. What I would like to know id it possible to have the find and replace feature stay on the desktop when I press command "F".
If I do it to find then do it to find again it disapears off the desktop and the text I type in can appear anywhere in the document. If I remember CS you could go command F and It would highlight the find box without it disappearing off the desktop. (as per word, pages etc)
The Command +F key is to open\close the find change dialog. I think what you are asking for is a shortcut key to find next and yet keep the find\Change dialog open. The default shortcut for this is command + Alt + f, see the menu entry for this in Edit > Find Next just below Find\Change.
Thanks for the answer however when I use command alt f it tries to find the last entry. I would like it to default to allow me to enter my next find
