1. Re: Where is PPAPI plug-in?
Hiroshi Okugawa Jun 23, 2014 8:11 AM (in response to Bob Novy)Hi Bob,
Flash player PPAPI plugin is used by Google Chrome browser.
If you are not using Chrome browser, you don't need to use PPAPI plugin.
Thanks,
Hiroshi

Bob Novy Jun 25, 2014 2:57 PM (in response to Hiroshi Okugawa)Hi Hiroshi [those 2 words _both_ begin with Hi :-) ],
But what if I _am_ using the Google Chrome browser, eh? So my question remains, "Where may I find the PPAPI plugin?" Do you know? Thank you, Hiroshi.

3. Re: Where is PPAPI plug-in?
Hiroshi Okugawa Jun 25, 2014 5:06 PM (in response to Bob Novy)Hi Bob,
Google Chrome comes with PPAPI flash player. So, you don't need to install it separately.
If you want to know exact location of PPAPI flash player such as pepflashplayer.dll or PepperFlashPlayer.plugin, you can enter "chrome://flash" in Chrome's address bar to see the information.
Thanks,
Hiroshi

4. Re: Where is PPAPI plug-in?
Bob Novy Jun 27, 2014 2:39 PM (in response to Hiroshi Okugawa)Hello again, Hiroshi. I assume that what you wrote is true. So in my System Preferences / Flash Player / Advanced window, I can _ignore_ the statement, PPAPI Plug-in is not installed.
Maybe I have too-much time on my hands? Thank you again, Hiroshi. :-)

5. Re: Where is PPAPI plug-in?
Hiroshi Okugawa Jul 2, 2014 12:06 PM (in response to Bob Novy)I see. I saw the same.
Yes, please ignore the message. I believe your Chrome browser can play flash content without any problem.
I'll file a bug for this cosmetic issue.
Thanks for reporting the issue.
