For some reason my adjustment brush in Camera Raw (CS6) is not working right (it always has in the past). It "works" but it doesn't make as strong of a difference as it should. For instance, if I want to lighten an area, I have to move the brush all the way to the end of the slider to even see any effect on the image and it's just barely noticeable. I tried manually typing in a number higher than what it says, and I get a pop up message saying that the value must be between -4 and +4. My graduated filter tool works totally fine like always. Is there some setting that I am not seeing to make it more powerful? Thanks.
Open a new photo in Camera Raw
Click on the Adjustment Brush
Click on the "-" to the upper left of Exposure, and then set Exposure to +2 stops for testing purposes
Set Feather, Flow, and Density to 100
Uncheck Auto Mask
The brush should work now. Go back and make the setting you want.
You win! Thanks!
