I have clients who I do variable data printing for. They give me two PDFs. One PDF page which is a common front and a PDF with the merged data which is just the back pages for each record. I need it insert the common front into the merged file and have it duplicate numerous times in between the merged pages so I get pages that go front back front back front back so the file can be duplexed through a digital printer.
Currently I have the merged file as record 1, record 2, record 3 etc and have to drag the common front into the merged PDF then drag/copy it after each record so it goes common front, record 1, common front, record 2, common front, record 3 etc etc.
I've not been able to find a way Acrobat can simply duplicate a page then insert it x times into odd or even pages.
Is this even possible?
Thanks
Dan
There may be a way to script this, but if the page you want to copy is placed in a separate file, you can drag it into the other document multiple times when the page thumbnails panel is open in both files.
