Just a heads up in case you missed it, but Jeff Tranberry has just put out a CC 2014 FAQ covering exactly the sort of questions asked in this forum a hundred times a day since 2014 was released. There's some great info in it even if you are not having problems.

Jeff shown Spring cleaning and work around. The work around seems to be keep Photoshop CC 14.2.1 installed along with Photoshop CC 2014. There is also problem with the work around because Adobe Bridge CC was updated and want to communicate with Photoshop CC 2014 so Photoshop CC 14.2.1 Mini Bridge and Bridge CC do not get along. Re: CC 14.2.1: MiniBridge > Photoshop Tools menu scripts are launching CC 2014.. err why ?
