Most of the time when I launch Photoshop CC 2014, a window pops up with an error message with 'Photoshop can't start because the file MSVCR90.dll is missing from your computer. I click OK and another window pops up with a similar message but the MSVCP.dll file is missing. I click OK about six times and then Photoshop CC 2014 starts. It also asks me to re install the program. What do I do to fix it?
Sounds like you might have copied over some plugins from the Photoshop CC plugins folder to the Photoshop CC (2014) plugins folder without using the installer. Plugins may install additional files in the main Photoshop folder that you won't carry over if you just copy the stuff from the plugins folder. Check to see if your computer has the two files at issue installed elsewhere (Win+F) and then copy the files to the Photoshop CC (2014) folder and see if that helps.
Thank you Michael. That was the problem. It's now fixed.
