      Hi all

Wow, don't everyone fall over. I don't normally find myself on this end of the forum. But I have no other choice. So here I am. Please be gentle!

I have a situation where I need to know if anyone has ever had a need to take RoboHelp HTML output and wrangle it into Framemaker.

If any of you have ever attempted this, how did you go about it? Any "best practices" to impart?

adv THANKS ance for any answers

Oh, this isn't a slasher movie? Sorry...

Rick, I have no answer for you; only a general reminder about conversions. That is, test small samples to identify all the things you can modify in the source before starting the conversion. That's often easier than modifying the post-conversion output. You might even need to convert in increments, such as HTML-to-Word-to-Frame.

          Good luck,
          (and I really mean that!)

RoboWizard, I don't have any experience working with RoboHelp AND Framemaker, but as the proud owner of two very large Word documents produced by RH, I'm thrilled to see that you're putting your capable mind to the task.
