Please uninstall Creative cloud desktop: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html, install again and try to download/install apps.
Additionally you ay refer the article: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-cc-installation-download.html.
If you problem is still unresolved then you may try the direct download: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html.
Note: Kindly follow the very important instructions before download.

John Ellenberger Jun 28, 2014 4:22 AM (in response to Rave)The uninstall / re-install of the desktop app appears to have cleared things up (the cleaner stuff seems like overkill). Unfortunately it took about 10 minutes to actually find the desktop download. You would think that if they were trying to get us to use their little "helper" they would make it more reliable and accessible but maybe that's just me.
