yes. make a function that would check the mouse position or something.
setTimeout( myFunction, 10000);
on a fail, make sure myFunction calls itself again, on pass (the _xmouse hasn't moved) send it back to the first scene and don't recall the function. You'll then need to call that function anytime someone goes to another scene.
also, using scenes tends to be sort of rough later on. Instead try to keep your main timeline to 1 frame, and do all your dirty work top down. This will create easier programming to attach to your movies.
I am using the following script at the begining of my scenes in a kiosk I designed to make the player go back tot he main screen if it is not being used:

myButton.onRelease = function()
// do something
// clear the interval
although I cannot get this to work... doesn't seem to do anything... anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any tips...
myInterval = setInterval( myRestart, 60); -- thats not 60 seconds, thats 60 miliseconds.
remember scope if you try to clear it from another object - such as a button.
