What happens when you try to open Lightroom? Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
No error message, just nothing. Someone told me that perhaps the computer or adobe only allowed so many uses of the serial number.
Nope, unlimited uses within the 30 day trial period.
Sorry, but that's not correct. 100% false.
Tell us more details about your computer and Lightroom
- What version of Lightroom?
- What operating system?
- How much memory does your computer have?
- Can you try removing the presets ... move them to a different folder and see if the problem goes away.
- What presets did you download?
Lightroom 5; Windows 7; 584GB Hard drive and free 425;
(Actually, I can click on the LR icon which takes me to license window and it allows me to enter the serial number from the purchased card but this does not open LR- there is a red x after the serial number and "next" is grayed out). Today i noticed that the window says my 30day license is up.
So maybe I need a reset to the purchased license?
I downloaded presets from Improve Photography.
Is this the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom, or the stand-alone ("perpetual license") version?
584GB Hard drive and free 425;
I want to know about memory, not disk space
We have 6.85 RAM available.
The program is a stand alone. "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 software license."

Yes, you probably have to re-enter the license number ... however, you shouldn't have to enter it repeatedly. There are many threads here about how to fix Lightroom if it repeatedly asks for your license, I suggest you search for them.
Thank you for your time! My bad...I didnt use the serial number again so I kept having to go through that same window! Once I applied the serial #, it opened to the program and all the presets were there! appreciate your fast response!
