Good evening! I have just bought a new Mac with and external G-Raid with thunderbolt storage. When I import to Lightroom using the G-Raid as the storage location the folders are not being named in the Lightroom catalogue. Therefore I just get a list of 2014 folders with no names. When I go to the G-Raid using finder, the folders are named correctly as specified during import. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I Just want the folders in the Lightroom catalogue to be labelled correctly! Thanks in advance
When you do the import into Lightroom, are you using the "Add" option, or the "Copy" option or the "Move" option?
Sounds like you want to use "Add"
Hi, thanks for the reply. I do use add. When I was using my old standard external hard drive it worked perfectly and all my old folders are neatly organised. Everything I've added since using the G-Raid is in separate folders all labelled 2014. Not the most easily accessible.
