New iMac (2014), 32GB, 256 SSD, "Unable to allocate..."

Hello. I've been searching, but not finding, answers.

I have a new iMac with 32GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. I just updated AE to 13.0 from v 12(.2?). Same problem with both versions. I'm trying to stabilize a 28 minute video. The analysis churns adequately, then, at the end, I get the dreaded "Unable to allocate 0.000MB of RAM..." message. Then, I can't quit, and must force quit.

My settings include "Render multiple frames simultaneously," and I've reserved 2 of the 8 cores for this task.

The only answers I've been able to find are "restart," and "allocate cores to other applications." Oh, yes, and "update." Well, I've done those things and I'm still getting the message.

Does *anyone* out here know what's going on and how to fix it?

      Thank you.
