I've been working on parallax videos where I've essentially been making stop motion animations play with scrolling.
I was wondering if anyone knows if this is possible with html5 video? So for instance each time a scroll movement is detected one frame of the video is played forward? This method would save me a lot of time rather than doing it frame by frame as I currently am.
Any and all advice is much appreciated.
Brilliant thanks for your help!
Although that tutorial is specifically using Muse I think it's helped me to work out how to go about it using Edge.
For anyone interested I'm going to use Photoshop to export the video as jpegs at 5fps. I'll then place images side by side in photoshop effectively creating one incredibly long jpeg.
Then in edge I'm going to clip one frame and simply move the image along the x axis the length of each frame moving it every quarter of a second.
Then using a bit of JQUERY activate the parallax effect and hey presto! Problem solved!
