how to ensure that at least 1 checkbox is checked?

    Level 7
I have an INSERT form on my ASP/VB page.
Within this form are 4 check boxes.

Is there any way to ensure/validate that at least 1 of these check boxes is
      checked by the user?
      I don't want radio buttons as a yes/no x 4 for each option, just a straight
      check box, if that's possible.

I have tried a couple of extensions, but none of them seem to cope with
checkboxes very well which makes me wonder if what I'm suggesting is
      feasible?

      Thanks.
      Nath.

It can be done with javascript or PHP, do I'm sure that ASP has the same
          functionality.
