1. Re: Photoshop Vs Coral Draw which is best for logo designing?
MichaelKazlow Jul 6, 2014 7:53 PM (in response to Rohit Singh)Logos are best made with a vector graphic program like Illustrator, not Photoshop. I am not familiar with Corel Draw to know if it is a raster or vector-based graphics program.

Jacob Bugge Jul 7, 2014 3:42 AM (in response to Rohit Singh)Rohit,
If you have Corel Draw, use that rather than Photoshop as Michael says. Some prefer it over Illustrator, and others prefer Illustrator.
There have been some comparisons in the Illustrator forum,
You may type in Corel Draw in the Type to filter by text box at the top of the thread list.

jdanek Jul 7, 2014 6:44 PM (in response to Rohit Singh)Believe it or not, you are the best option. It's your ability to solve problems and create innovation solutions for clients that will make you successful or not. When you have been seduced into thinking the computer is the answer, then it's time to rethink your direction. That said, logo production art is defined as "vector" artwork. I prefer Illustrator as the application to use, but Corel Draw could also be used. I do not know where this idea of using Photoshop for logo design artwork came from, but it is incorrect. Designing logos is a complex business. Done right and it will last forever. Done wrong...well, you know the rest.
