»say whaaaaaat« indeed – what are you talking about?
I have no problem using Apply Stroke on Paths with more than one subPathItem or creating a Shape Layer with several subPathItems with a Stroke.
try using the freeform path tool and draw multiple lines (two, three different *unconnected*), then apply a stroke to them. in Ps-CS6, all of the lines get strokes. in CC 2014, only the last line drawn gets stroked.
The lastly created subPathItem seems to be kept selected indeed unlike in CS6; just deselect it by cmd-clicking the canvas beside it.
huzzah! worked like a champ...although for a PC-peep such as i, it was <ctrl> on the canvas that did the trick. (^.~)
These little changes in Tool behaviour can be a bit baffling and in this case it adds a click to your workflow.
Hopefully that is tolerable for you.
more tolerable than not being able to use the freeform path tool. (^.^)
btw, i have another open discussion about CC 2014 not playing nicely with the radial menu of my Intuos 5 (pro)...perhaps you could look at that and offer thoughts?
