Hi All,

1.

Can you please check if Camera Raw is updated, if not! try to run an update for Camera Raw 9.4 from here: Camera Raw 9.4 Now Available

OR

Camera Raw installer for Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6

2.

Also, this might help:

Invalid JPEG Marker error when opening images in Adobe Photoshop

Thanks

Hi There - If you are on OS X 10.6 you might like to check your Camera Raw Plugin. The following explains more about fixing the issue

we were unable to complete your request because the file was not found

I use the Windows 10 PC

The funny thing is that on another PC it opens normally.

How can I solve this?

Same problem here. Only after the last Update I started to have this issue.

I tried all tricks I could find. Reseting the preferences, Reinstalling and even installing CC 2014. Not Even the older version is working any more.

Need immediate help. Can work like this! It is a shame that a simple file can´t open in Photoshop.

TL;DR: Camera Raw was not actually installed on computer

I was getting this error as well when trying to open a JPG ("Could not complete your request because the file was not found."). Creative Cloud app said that Camera Raw was up to date, but when I opened Photoshop and went to Preferences > About Plug Ins > Camera Raw, I got an error that Camera Raw was not found. I downloaded a Camera Raw installer and installed manually, and now JPGs are opening in Photoshop.

Camera Raw plug-in installer

Btw this is an old computer/OS at an edit facility that can only use up to CC 2017.

OS X 10.10.5

Mac Pro Mid 2010

PS 2017.1.6
