Does anyone know how to turn this off when pasting copy from one indesign document to another?
When i copy text from one document to the new, in the new document the text comes in ranged right and with Adobe World-Ready composer attached to it. Its annoying to have to change it everytime from Adobe World-Ready composer back to Adobe paragraph composer, then range left.
I want to be able to paste copy in my new document either in a specific allocated text box or the actual text box from the previous document without the world-ready and ranged right.
I am guessing that text in both source and target documents are marked with the Basic Paragraph style. Redefining the Basic Paragraph in the target doc, or assigning a new paragraph style to your text, or (maybe) choosing Break Link To Style before copying, any of these might work for you. I am a chronic user of Paste Without Formatting (Ctrl + Shift + V) which ensures that the only part of the source that comes through in the target doc is the text, without any of the associated formatting.
