1. Re: CC 2014 Update Makes My Mid-2012 Mac Pro Worthless
yonkondy Jul 9, 2014 6:25 PM (in response to wheelswithinwheels)Hello there,
Having almost identical issues on my late 2011 Macbook Pro with the update. (Just posted actually!)
I hope someone out there can help!

wheelswithinwheels Jul 10, 2014 8:09 AM (in response to yonkondy)Glad to know I'm not alone, Yonkondy. One thing I just tried that seems to be helping performance a lot is to hold down the Shift+Option keys while the project is loading up. This clears the preferences. It won't look like anything happens initially (there's no dialogue box or anything to tell you that the preferences have been cleared), but I was finally able to save my project without it crashing! Baby steps I guess, haha.

ggriswold@cox.net Jul 10, 2014 3:12 PM (in response to wheelswithinwheels)My Mac (same model) was not working until I updated my video driver. Might work for you. Your card and Ram should be more than adequate to run PP 2014.

wheelswithinwheels Jul 10, 2014 3:26 PM (in response to ggriswold@cox.net)How did you update your video driver? I thought that was something that would happen automatically, whenever OS X is updating.
