One can have several versions of Photoshop installed on a computer without problems.
If you have a license for CS5 and you do not desperately need the disk space you need not de-install it.
Butif you decide to remove it do use the Uninstaller.
Actually I don't have the license and it still works fine, for free.

Continuing to run Photoshop without a license is illegal. You seem to want to do the right thing, so you should remove it.
Then ask yourself... How are you getting substantial illegal software installed on your computer without knowing how you got it?
Oh, and by the way, illegally cracked copies of Photoshop often come with a malware payload. You may already be infected by it. I'd scan my system with a good anti-malware package if I were you.
Just to add to the posts above, the only place I find any reference to CS5 ME, especially with the magic-m tag, is on sites known for cracked programs loaded with malware.
