On the link below, I could only find one list of graphics cards.
Under the AE CC System Requirements, the text says to look "below" for the list of Adobe-Certified cards. The only list "below" is under the System Requirements for AE6.

Quadro FX 4800
This list is way out of date. Some of the cards date back to 2004! Before you tell me that this is the wrong list, this is the exact list that an Adobe Tech referred me to when I was on a tech support call yesterday.

Those are not a list of the only cards that will work with After Effects. That is just a list of cards that are "certified" to accelerate the ray-traced 3d renderer. As that is an obsolete feature, I wouldn't worry about it at all. You only need to concern yourself with the minimum requirements that AE has. Now, if you're using Premiere or any third-party plugins for AE that make use of the GPU, refer to their requirements. Anything that works for Premiere's Mercury Playback Engine or a third-party plugin like Element 3d will do just fine for AE.
