I have just taken on a new client, who's magazine was produced by a company using Creative Cloud InDesign. I was on 5.5 so have taken the leap to CC. I have just opened one of the InDesign files and most things seem ok on the face of it, except all the fonts are missing.
I expect this is because the old company are mac based and I am on PC. Rather than having to go through a hundred fonts looking for the correct PC version, is there a quick way to do this?
Were the fonts packaged with the file? They appear to be TrueType, but there's no way to tell from the screen cap if they re Windows TT (which also work on Mac) or Mac format that will not work on Windows. If the fonts are in a folder named Document Fonts with the .indd file ID should use them if they are compatible. Mac format fonts will show as 0 bytes in Explorer.
