dj_paige Jul 11, 2014 5:14 AM (in response to cteavin)You cannot change the focus in Lightroom or Photoshop, as focus can only be done via the camera.
You can affect of blurring of areas of the photo (which is definitely not changing the focus). In Lightroom, you would brush with negative clarity. In Photoshop, I believe there is a blur brush tool, which is probably the more effective way to go about this. In Photoshop, you could also change the sharpness of selected areas.

cteavin Jul 11, 2014 6:11 PM (in response to dj_paige)THanks. I did some digging through Photoshop and found that there are plug in filters available when can take an image in and out of focus, but you are correct, it can not be done in Lightroom.
