1. Re: Photoshop freezes my keyboard.
c.pfaffenbichler Jul 13, 2014 1:36 AM (in response to laurenmichele1)Cloned my harddrive and it happened on another computer so I know it's photoshop and not my computer.
This conclusion seems to be spurious, to say the least.
As for general trouble-shooting routines and providing meaningful information to get more specific help please read these:

laurenmichele1 Jul 13, 2014 6:19 AM (in response to c.pfaffenbichler)Please excuse my 'spurious' conclusion. I FEEL like it must be Photoshop. I would like to know why this is happening. Would uninstalling and reinstalling help? How is there is NO tech support for adobe?

3. Re: Photoshop freezes my keyboard.
laurenmichele1 Jul 13, 2014 6:51 AM (in response to laurenmichele1)I came across another forum where multiple people had the same issue. Hoping one of the suggestions helps:
"Then I noticed something strange: whenever it happend, I would hear a sound in the background, like 4 "clicks".
So I checked the System Preferences for Universal Access. The tab "Mouse & Trackpad" has an option "Press the Option key five times to turn Mouse Keys on or off". This option was enabled and mouse keys where On.
Pressing the Option key 5 times switched Mouse Keys off and produced the clicking sound again.
Now the keyboard started working again."
Good to know I'm not the only one out there needing help with this...

c.pfaffenbichler Jul 13, 2014 10:56 PM (in response to laurenmichele1)Then that was a System preference and not a Photoshop issue?
