Do you use a electronic signature?
I want to but do not know how to do it. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks. Frank.
There's an important thing to realise about digital signatures. They aren't at all like paper signatures.
Digital signatures are a bit of magic inside the PDF file. This magic includes a private certificate - just yours - and the information to stop the file from being tampered with. This is the real signature, and doesn't look like anything. I mean, you check it will a special button. There might be an "appearance" too that says whose signature it is; there could even be a "scribble", an old-fashioned signature.
Nothing in the world can keep your "scribble" signature safe from copying, but that doesn't matter because the real signature is not that. (I recommend you don't use a scribble, it confuses people, and after all allows it to be stolen and used for non-electronic things).
Use Adobe eSignature service. It looks like EchoSign service will do what you want. If you have a personal certificate with private key and want to use it to create digital signatures, Acrobat.com offers Acrobat Pro service which will do that for you (among many-many other things).
