I've been using creative.adobe.com to share some .psd projects that I've been working on recently among my colleagues. Which is particularly useful I've found when working with non-designers as they can view the full file in the browser and add comments. Helpful!
I'm now working in InDesign and I want to share my .idml project using the same method. I can share the file without any problems but the file appears blank. I've tried various files from various projects but nothing seems to work.
I'm pretty sure it's something I'm doing wrong as I think remember seeing a video of it working in the June Keynote.
InDesign files have to have a preview saved in File Handling preferences for them to show up.
(1) IDML files have no file preview
(2) There is a bug in Creative Cloud File display that doesn't display previews of InDesign CC 2014 files properly. They appear blank.
To get a preview, you'll have to save as InDesign CC (NOT 2014). If you want more than two pages previewing, set the File Handling preferences accordingly.
Why are you using IDML? If you want to share InDesign projects save them as INDD files and share the link to that.
Apologies, I'm working for a client that has an old copy of InDesign. It doesn't seem to be working for me but thank you guys for your help!
