I Would like to see a frequency separation brush. in my mind it would be similar to the healing brush, only in one form it would only heal texture hold down the alt and then it would heal the tones from a source point. Of course this brush would have to be smart enough to know when you are in 16 bit or 8 bit mode, but that is all simple math. What do you all think? I would really like to hear from the developers. Maybe it's already in the works.
Frequency separation simple math? Maybe not...
But I do agree a noise reduction brush is a very good idea, and timely considering the unprecedented CPU and GPU power we have in today's computers. You might want to make sure you make it known on the following site, which is generally thought to be the place where Adobe looks for new ideas:
For now, as you probably know, with today's Photoshop you can make layers with the appropriate manipulations, then reveal / hide them by brushing on a layer mask.
Thank you Noel Carboni for the reply and the link. I realize that there is no simple math involved, and that much credit must go to the developers. I will take this idea to that link.
