No good unfortunately Sanjeeta, whilst cleaning out my mac I've managed to loose the uninstall for Creative Cloud. There is now only an alias of 86 bytes. Can I download the uninstall from somewhere?
You can delete the alias also Adobe creative cloud if you have that in Application folder and try downloading CC cleaner tool for MAC Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Run the software and remove Creative cloud Desktop app.
Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
Delete the OOBE folder.
You can download it again from here: Free Creative Cloud | Download Adobe Creative Cloud free trial
Sign in and then try to install CC apps.
Okay, I think it's finally working, thank you. The signs are good as the apps have started downloading which is the furthest I've managed to get.
After following these steps, once I'd downloaded the Creative Cloud again it was saying I had a download problem once trying to open the Creative tab. I checked in my downloads folder and, following the link on your post, the installer was only 1.6 MB, whereas the initial installer I downloaded last year was 4.6 MB, so I used that one instead and it now seems to be working.
Many thanks for everyone's help, especially Psynikk who got me over the line!
You are welcome, glad to know that everything sorted out.
