Using Macintosh to publish via PowerPoint

Can someone tell me if they have had success installing the Presenter plug-in for PowerPoint on a MACINTOSH? We have a Mac that we do out video production on and it would be great for work flow if we could publish directly from PowerPoint on the Macintosh, but I have not had success installing the Plug-in for PowerPoint that allows you to do that.

I fear that it is not compatible, but find out that information seem to beyond my abilities.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

To author Presenter content, Macs are not supported.
