How to tween in Director 11?

    MECS Level 1

Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to tween?

Let's say I want a box to slide across the screen from left to right.

I know to position the box on the left side of the screen, and what are the following steps?

      THank you.

Assuming you want to tween in the score, as opposed to using Lingo to drive it, you place your sprite where you'd like it in the first frame and stretch it in the score for as many frames as you want it to animate for, and insert a keyframe in the frame where you'd like it finish the tween (move the playhead to that frame with the sprite span selected and press CTRL+ALT+K). Now select that single keyframe in the score (not the entire sprite span) and move your sprite to where you want it to finish. Scrub the playhead with your mouse to observe the animation. Now that you have the basic tween established you can select the entire sprite span and adjust the tween properties by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+B
