Indesign 5 crashing after migration from one mac to another

I recently migrated CS5 from one mac to another. Illustrator and photoshop are working fine but I cannot get past the initializing screen in Indesign and then it crashes. I have read the various forums about looking for the SING/MARK II plugin and remove that. I could only find a SING plugin but nothing with MARK II (in the ID plugins folder). I deleted the plugin but nothing changed. I have even reset my keychain as per one bit of advice. Nothing has worked and the problem is now that my new mac does not have an optical drive for me to reinstall the program. Furthermore, I tried to decipher the crash report but it is way past my capabilities. Having a new machine with programs that don't work is like giving a dog a bone and then taking it away...Can anyone help please.
