What version of Premiere Elements are you using on your iMac? For now I will assume Premiere Elements 12/12.1.
If you are going to try to do the import via a USB connect to your iMac, you explore
for Photos, use of Add Media/"Photos from Cameras and Devices"/"Adobe Premiere Elements - Photo Downloader"
for Videos, use of Add Media/"Videos from Flip or Cameras"/"Video Importer".
Or if worse comes to worse with the connection between the iPhoen and the Mac and Premiere Elements, then download
the files to the computer and import them into Premiere Elements with its Add Media/Files and Folders/
But, let us see what happens when you use photo choices for photos and video choice for videos.
We will be watching for your results.
I used the "Videos from Flip or Cameras" option and it worked like a charm. Thank you so much for your assistance! Avo
You made my day with your great news. Great job.
I am strictly an Elements Windows user who likes to try to find
some common ground between Premiere Elements Windows and
Mac in order to resolve these issues.
Glad that worked for both of us.
Thanks for the follow up. Much appreciated by all.
