Have you checked for newer table drivers?
Tablet drivers are updated and have also tested with a mouse. CC is updated.
It may be helpful for me to add that the page view/pasteboard jump is not random in that it moves in the same way each time I move the object in a certain direction - change the direction and the page jump direction changes also but consistently each time.
We are also having the same problem and have tried all the solutions mentioned but nothing works.
We too are using Wacom tablets – Intuos 5.
The problem first occurred when we "upgraded" from InDesign CS6 to InDesign CC. However, InDesign CC was SO SLOW for us that we ditched it and went back to CS6. However, we have now moved to InDesign CC2014 which is much quicker and nice to use, but the jumping problem is still there. We do have one user who does not use a Wacom, just a normal Apple mouse and he does not have the jumping problem.
So our conclusion is that this is an Adobe / Wacom bug that was introduced with InDesign CC and remains in CC 2014.
Any solution to this jumping problem would be welcomed. Who knows, maybe Adobe could actually test their software with Wacom during development???
Just updated to ID 10.1.0.71 and the problem seems have gotten worse. I have updated the Wacom drivers too but no change.
Adobe, what are you doing? And yes, I know this is a user forum!
I also have this problem. Cut or paste items often cause my page view to jump to some random space on the paste board. Also happens when I "Fit Frame to Content". Really effin annoying. We use Macs, Sierra, CC2017 (been an issue since earlier versions), a variety of different mice (Magic mouse, MM2, apple wired mouse, Wacom tablets, logitech mice etc).
Cmon Adobe! [Removed by moderator]?
I have a similar setup (Sierra and CC 2017) and I use copy and paste frequently with no problems with page view jumping.
Have you tried restoring your InDesign preferences:
