Our company uses PDF digital signatures internally to authorize various documents. I wanted to collect all the public keys into my Acrobat and then export them, including their trust settings into a single file. I did accomplish publishing the public keys but the trust settings do not go with it. Why not? I can't expect all of our employees to open each one of these public keys and check the settings. Is there a way to export all of the public keys with the trust settings so when they receive a signed document from one of our emplyess it shows as valid signature?
On a machine where you have already set up all individual certificates you can use Acrobat Pro's Export Security Settings feature to create a .acrobatsecuritysettings file that contains all these certificates and then use Import Security Settings feature, available both in Reader and Acrobat, to import these certificates to all machines in your company.
