Has anyone seen an xtra or know of some imaging lingo code
that will produce a 2D version of volumetric light on either
graphic or text sprites? This is the effect you see on TV almost
every day, particularly with text, where light shines from a point
source behind the text and casts rays in front of the object.
Traditionally it’s a 3D effect (although not supported by
Director’s 3D methods), however, Adobe Premiere has some
plug-ins that do an effective 2D fake, I was wondering if there was
something out there for Director.
