1. Re: RoboHelp 11 - Template headers and footers all of a sudden display in my topics
Willam van Weelden Jul 23, 2014 2:21 AM (in response to HelpAuthor1)It looks like you have accidentally published your output into your project directory. As you see, the red squares indicate scripts and your topics contain the template content.
From this, there are only two ways forward: (1) restoring a backup or (2) reverse engineering your project.
I have reverse engineering scripts for several outputs, but unfortunately, not yet for HTML5 output which you are using. If you have a WebHelp output lying around (or CHM/AIR/etc.) you can use one of the other scripts. (Recovery script | WvanWeelden.eu)
Do you have a backup? Depending on the size of your project, redoing one or two days of work is probably the easiest unless you have a recent WebHelp output lying around.
Kind regards,
Willam

2. Re: RoboHelp 11 - Template headers and footers all of a sudden display in my topics
HelpAuthor1 Jul 23, 2014 2:17 PM (in response to Willam van Weelden)I have been recreating all the files, but you've helped me understand the issue--After doing all that work and recreating all the pages; it happened again and I was not sure why. I was sure it was in the publish process, but wasn't sure what I was doing wrong. I don't have a WebHelp output--we are currently only developing Responsive design and pdf.
I have an earlier backup from today I can work from; however, I just lost probably several hours of work by doing the same thing all over again! (I didn't check this today to see if I got an answer).
Thank you for your input; I'll update if I successfully select a different folder to park my published files!
