Are you testing the projector, or in authoring? You will probably need
to test as a projector.
If it still doesn't work, post your keyDownScript.
Thanks for the response. I am testing in the projector. As you suspected, it can't be tested in authoring, because director responds to the keystrokes. I've simplified my test to the following movie. All you need is one frame, with a frame loop script in it. Then create the following movie script...
the keydownscript = "trapKeys"
Create a projector of this movie, then run it. Once running, hit the plus key, you should get an alert that says "24". Then, hold the "control" key down and hit the plus key (ctrl++)... I don't get any response... the keystroke isn't handled by the keydownscript. I also get no response from most keys when the "alt" key is depressed.
I do get responses with control and any letter, but I'm wanting to use the windows standard keystrokes for zoom in and zoom out in my program.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
