Go to the following website and download the trial version of the same version of Lightroom you have been using:
Run the installation and then use your existing serial number to activate the program. The installer will detect that you have a 64-bit system, and will install the right version.
If the version that you have been running was an upgrade from an older version, you will need both serial numbers in order to activate.

One thing - I have a backup copy of all the RAW files and the cataloque from the old 32 bit laptop. Will the 64-bit version of LR5 be able to read them/convert them?

Yes. I switched from 32-bit to 64-bit about a year ago, and the transition was seamless.
Basically you want the copy everything LR-related over from the old computer to the new computer in the same locations, and you should be able to pick up where you left off.
