1. Please make sure you use Extension Manager CS5.5.
2. Which plugin did you want to install? Extension Manager has no such error message as you mentioned. Please provide accurate error message or screenshot.
This error is only for Mac OS 10.8.5 for lower version its working
Same zxp is working for CS6, CC, CC 2014
It's really strange. Do you mean it works for 10.8.4? Do you install CS6, CC and CC 2014 in the same 10.8.5 machine?
When I command show package contents for my plugin then it has structure as
Version, (shortcut of Resources) and (shortcut of plugin)
but I want the original folder of resources and plugin in package on first level, So what setting I have to change in my project.
This structure conform to the convention of Mac. Why do you want to use actual file there? Perhaps you can try to use ucf.jar to package it.
I am using Basicdlg plugins of CS5.5 and following are the content of mxi file.Using this mxi file and basicdlg plugin create a zxp and then swatch that it is installing on MAC OS 10.4 and 10.6 for CS 5.5, but it gives the error "Extension does not contain valid signature" during installation of same ZXP on MAC OS 10.8
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<file products="InDesign" platform="mac" minVersion="7.5" maxVersion="7.9" source="BasicDialog.sdk.InDesignPlugin" destination="$indesign/Plug-Ins/Send2Proof" file-type="plugin"/>
Did you checked the zxp that I sent on your given mail
Yes. I checked the signature with EM CS6, CC and other tools. The signature seems OK. I also reproduced the issue with EM 5.5.3. It might be caused by some corner cases not handled by EM 5.5.3. You'd better package the extension with UCF.jar. We tried to package your extension with UCF.jar and it can be installed by EM CS5.5 successfully. Moreover, the Resources and plugin would be the original folder/file as you wanted.
Thanks by using ucf.jar file problem is solved.
But now the issue is that if I create the ZXP through Packager its size becomes 4 MB and if same ZXP is created through ucf.jar its size becomes 14 MB.
How can I achieve the less size.
UCF.jar can't handle symbolic links correctly so all symlinks become actual folders/files. So the ZXP contains two Resources folders and two executables. This is why ZXP is so large and also this is the change you wanted in post 6 above. I can't change it.
Thanks for the guideline.
