I assume that "upload" means Import. Is that correct?
If the Import isn't working, is there an error message? What does it say?
That is correct. I am unable to import the image into Lightroom 3.
There is no error message. I can see the image on the memory card when it is in the camera, but Lightroom is not seeing the same image.
Give us complete details.
What operating system? What camera? How is the camera connected to the computer? Are these photos RAW or JPG? Are you trying to import both into the same folder? What do you see in Lightroom (describe in great detail) when you try to import?
Windows 7 Home Premium
Dell XPS 8300
Intel Core i7-2600 CPU@3.40GHz
The memory card has been taken out of the camera and inserted into a memory card reader that is attached to the computer.
The photos are RAW.
Yes, I am trying to import the images into the same folder on my desktop.
When I attempt to import the images from the memory card, I see only the images shot with the color profile sRGB. I do not see the images shot with the color profile AdobeRGB.
Thank you so much!
if you're shooting raw, switching color spaces accomplishes nothing. But I don't believe the color space is causing the problem. I have imported AdobeRGB images from my camera before, and have had no problem. That was before I realized it was a pointless thing to do.
As an experiment, copy the photo to your hard drive, and try importing into Lightroom from the hard drive.
After copying the photo to my desktop, I was able to import it into Lightroom.
Today I will replicate this procedure for the remaining images on my memory card, but wondering how I can avoid this in the future.
Was the Adobe RGB color profile in my camera settings the problem..?
