From what I can tell, you have to go through and run the uninstaller inside each application's folder—which is tedious and stupid. Hope I'm wrong.
You might want to make sure the new 2014 version is set up as to not disturb your workflow first. Adobe hasn't provided a clear way to sync workspaces between the two versions.

-so do not uninstall the older CC programs if you use plugins in your programs until you are sure you have plugins that work in CC2014
If you are sure you don't need the old CC programs

Thanks John. I ended up uninstalling the "CC" versions & keeping their preferences because i know i had everything set after i first installed the apps. Then i uninstalled all of the "CC 2014" versions & removed their preferences. Finally, i just reinstalled all of the apps and synced with my cloud. Everything seems to be in working order.
