1. Install the profiles correctly through your operating system.
2. Make Lightroom aware of them.
Have you done step one yet?
Yes have downloaded the zip files from Hahnemuehle and they say install in Library/ColorSync/profiles in Lightroom but can't seem to find how to do that, have tried dragging them in and import but in either work!
Go to Print Module:
Color Management Section
Profile: Select "Other..."
Put a check mark next to the Hahnemuehle profiles you want Lightroom to use.
Thats the problem they are not in there to check! Obviously there is something else to do to get them there but I can't see what.
Then they are not installed in your OS or they are not valid profiles. You need to install them via the OS first.
They are listed in my download file on finder, so I assumed I could then just import them into Lightroom but it will not come up with import for them.
Installation using Mac OS:
1. Double-click on the downloaded Zip-file. The ICC profile will be extracted in the same folder automatically.
2. Now move the extracted ICC profile to the proper folder listed below.
Mac OS 8-9x - System Folder > Color Sync Folder
Mac OS X - HD > User > Library > ColorSync > Profiles
Note: Please restart your graphics application (eg photoshop) if it was open during the profile installation.
Just a guess, but are those profiles CMYK, by any chance? Those are not recognized by LR.
