1. Re: Indesign CC Update asked for but already installed
Peter Spier Jul 29, 2014 9:45 AM (in response to brlarry7777)What version are you running, and what are you being offered?
CC 2014 is listed as an update, but it's really a new version, and there was an update to DPS tools last week that pops up for a bunch of different programs.

2. Re: Indesign CC Update asked for but already installed
brlarry7777 Jul 29, 2014 12:05 PM (in response to Peter Spier)I cannot find a version number anywhere but it shows as Adobe Indesign CC (64 bit) and was just update yesterday
on my CC subscription.
I am told I should be using a version 10.0 or later.
Thanks,
Larry

3. Re: Indesign CC Update asked for but already installed
Peter Spier Jul 29, 2014 12:14 PM (in response to brlarry7777)CC is version 9.x (currently at 9.2). Version 10 is the new CC 2014 release. If you quit the Desktop App from the little "gear" menu in the upper right, then relaunch it, it should update itself and show you the CC2014 apps as updates.

brlarry7777 Jul 29, 2014 1:10 PM (in response to Peter Spier)Peter,
I did that but got no update but noticed that I have both CC and CC (2014) installed and updating.
Could this be a conflict?
Thanks for the help!
Larry

Peter Spier Jul 29, 2014 1:16 PM (in response to brlarry7777)Not sure what is updating (might be the DPS tools) but there should be no conflicts between the versions.
