Either have them in their original InDesign font folder - or installed on your computer.
Not both places.
I have tried both ways just on computer, just in font folder, and in both same results
I don't really know what to say.
Why is the text linked?
Important to know:
- Your OS and version
- Your ID version
- OS where the documents came from
- ID version where the documents came from
- Kind of type of the fonts, extension?
If you are on Windows and the fonts came from the Mac and are not OTF fonts you are out of luck. Only OTF fonts can be used on both computers.
If you are an the Mac and get Windows Fonts, they should work as the Mac can read all type of fonts.
Fonts could be converted with several programs, but in most cases it is not legal (but bringing fonts from one company to another is neither legal in most cases). You might to have to buy these fonts.
