Adoe Flash Player Keeps Deleting itself

Hello, I need help ASAP! I download the flash player install but it keeps deleting itself from my computer before I can't install it. And my Virus protection isn't blocking it either since it's currently not running. I am running Windows 8, how do I fix this?

Hello,

If you are downloading the online installer from get.adobe.com/flashplayer it is designed to delete itself after launching.  This online installer is a 'shim' installer that then downloads and installs the actual Flash Player installer silently.

You indicate you're on Windows 8, are you attempting to install Flash Player for Internet Explorer, or for other browsers?

I am downloading from Opera and trying to get it for all browsers.

Try the offline installer http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe
