Moved to InDesign EPUB forum.
the Table of content is generated automatically - just put all the Chapter names with Heading 1 style for example and than be careful when creating the TOC to check the Heading 1
later when exporting the EPUB check the option of TOC - I think that it is disabled by default
Thanks! It worked
I tried this but it only worked if the book is in one document, not when working with a InDesign book for the eBook.
Is this correct or what do I need to do to get the TOC using InDesign book?
It'll work for Book documents too. Make sure the TOC is in the style source document. And make sure you turn on two options in the TOC dialog box: 1) Include Book Documents; and 2) Make text anchor in source paragraph (only available in CC).
Make sure the TOC is in the style source document
Thank you so much! This was the thing I did wrong. There had been another document marked for style source. Now it works perfectly.
