I realize this has been a problem with Lightroom and other Adobe apps for over a year. Apparently this is STILL an ongoing issue: Creative Cloud - BUG Changing Installation Directory for App
Is there anything I can do to get Illustrator to install to another drive besides C? It's a 32 gig SSD strictly for my Win 7 64-bit OS.
Or is the CC version of Illustrator also, "Unsupported" outside of the C drive like Lightroom because of shoddy programming?
I'm not particularly thrilled with the CC thus far - my experiences have been extremely frustrating.
I'm not sure what that thread has to do with Illustrator, install directories, or Creative Cloud. That thread references CUDA cores and Premiere in Creative Suite 5. "Illustrator" doesn't even appear in the thread.
I fear that this is an unsolvable problem, as it has apparently been happening for almost two years: Illustrator keeps installing on C drive, although preferences are set to F drive
