1. Re: How to split a MP3 file into several files?
ryclark Aug 1, 2014 8:54 AM (in response to Bellzemos)Unfortunately Audition always work with .wav files so your mp3 will be opened as a wav file and then recoded when you save it out again as an .mp3 file.
However there are some freeware mp3 splitters out there which will just allow you to cut up your files without the decode/encode cycle. Google MP3 Splitter or MP3 Cutter/Joiner.

jenniwefer Oct 17, 2014 12:38 AM (in response to Bellzemos)I have no idea about Adobe Audition 3.
To split a whole album in FLAC, MP3, WAV, etc formats with CUE or chapter, i recommend you a full guide at: CUE Splitter - Split MP3, FLAC, APE, WAV, DTS, WMA, OGG, etc
It easy and helpful.
