Exact version of the OS?
Can you describe your "ghost prints" in detail? At this point it's impossible even to venture a guess as to whether you're dealing with a hardware or a software problem.
Could you post a pict or scan of an actual print? Even a phone camera picture would do.
Have you contacted Epson yet?
What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?
If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand, such as your platform (Mac or Win), exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop and of Bridge, machine specs, what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far, what error message(s) you receive, if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them, etc., someone may be able to help you.

Please tell us what exact version of CS6 you are using. For instance, if on Mac, you should be at CS6 13.0.6. Don't rely on the auto updater to tell us you're on "the latest version".
