Jump to slide "On Exit" not working

I am currently using Captivate 8. I created a project with 9 different branching options from a title menu slide. You click on a button, and it jumps you to a specific slide. After a few slides about that "topic" I changed the last slide in the topic On Exit to jump back to the title menu so the user can choose the next topic they want. I previewed the project (the entire project) and for some reason, the project just continues as if the On Exit command isn't there.

From the title menu screen, I have a variable entered to execute (one variable for each button) after clicking on each button from the title menu which does the following:

1. disables the button

2. shows a check mark image over the button as "complete"

3. Jumps to the slide the button is assigned to go to

I have the same problem. The On Exit is disregarded entirely. I tried implementing a workaround using advanced actions and variables, but I need On Exit to be working for that too!

Totally stuck, so if anyone has a solution....

I think I've had a similar problem before but moved on to custom navigation where the user clicks a button/smart shape to return to the menu. Just assigned a button's "On Success" action to "Jump to slide..."

If you are simply looking for the project to Jump to Slide when the timeline is depleted, I'm not sure of how to deal with it.

You might try making another slide after the one you want the On Exit command to execute from, and assign an Advanced/Shared Action to execute On Enter on the new slide that jumps back to the menu.
